Mark Conacher began in the trades at 16 and went on to build and run an award-winning installation company with multiple teams. Working on the tools gave him a clear understanding of the job itself, the customer and the pressure that comes with delivering the work.
The biggest shift in his business learning came after moving to Vancouver, BC, in 2010 and stepping back from fitting. That created the space to focus on the numbers, marketing, operations, people and decisions that made the business work.
Running an installation business from that position brought a different perspective: seeing the whole business, rather than only the next job. That experience sits at the centre of KBB Momentum.
